Business plan data: The information you enter to generate plans (business name, industry, location, financial details) is stored in your browser's local storage on your device. This data does not leave your device except when sent to our AI provider to generate your plan.

Usage data: We may collect anonymous analytics data about how you use the platform, including pages visited and features used, to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the BuildSmart service, generate your business plans, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. AI Processing

When you generate a business plan, your inputs are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate plan content. This data is processed according to Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not store your plan inputs on our servers — they are processed and returned to your browser.

4. Data Storage

Your saved plans and account data are stored in your browser's local storage. This means your data stays on your device. Clearing your browser data will delete your saved plans. We are working on cloud backup features for future versions.

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies for session management. We do not use advertising cookies or share cookie data with advertisers.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights
